Host Steve Mann will explore the environmental and social costs of the Alberta Tar Sands project and actions to stop it with Clayton Thomas-Muller of the Canadian Indigenous Tar Sands Campaign. The Albert’s tar sands project is the largest and most destructive industrial development in the history of mankind. According to OilSandsTruth.org the tar sands mining procedure releases at least three times the CO2 emissions as regular oil production and is slated to become the single largest industrial contributor in North America to Climate Change. The social costs are just as staggering.

Are you driving on tar sand gasoline? Find out Monday,  Aug 22 @ 6:00 PM
